Big data analytics
In this we are presented with the data. The process of converting large amount s of unstructured raw data, retrieve from different sources to a data product useful for organizations forms the core of big data Analytics.
Big data repositories have existed in many forms, often built by corporations with a special need . Organizations are capturing, storing , and analyzing data that has high volume , velocity and variety and comes from a variety of new sources. Including social media machines, log files, videos, text , image, GPS etc.
The main purpose of Big data Analytic is to help organizations to make better business decision, future prediction, analysis of large number of transactions that done in organization and update the form of data that organization is used.
EX- Big Online Business website like FlipKart, Snapdeal use facebook or G-mail data to view the customer information and behavior.
Big Data analytics for manufacturing applications is marketed as 5C Architecture as (Connection , Conversion , Cyber, Cognition and configuration)Factory work and Cyber physical systems may have an extended “6C System” as.
- Cloud(Computing and data on demand )
- Connection(sensor and networks)
- Customization(Personalization and Value)
- Content/Context(Meaning and Corelation)
- Cyber(Model and Memory)
- Community(Sharing and Collaboration)
Features of Big Data Analytics
It includes “5V” Concept.
Velocity
The rapid generation of data from time to time is called velocity. The data may be real time data, yearly data, monthly data, hourly data , historical data, and weekly data and so on.
Volume
It means storage capacity . Collection of large amount of data , records, transaction and tables in terabyte to petabyte.
Value
It indicates the importance of data from the whole amount of data generated through various sources. Having huge amount of data is one thing. But extract valuable data from the entire block is very difficult part . by using this technique we simply find out the valuable data from the available large data.
Variety
The types of data used to store in big data are called variety. The types may be text , click stream, web logs, video, images, audio, animation , legacy documents and sensor data and so on.
Veracity
It means the accuracy of the data, generated from the various sources. Data is of no use if the quality or trust worthiness is not accurate. If we want better results, we require accurate and trust worthy data from the various sources.
Applications of Big Data Analytics
- Government
- Manufacturing
- Healthcare
- Education
- Insurance
- Media
VR (Virtual Reality)
It is a Man made environment that’s created with various software and given to the user in such way that the user beliefs and accepts it as true environment. It Could be a 3D image which will be explored interactively on a computer, by keyboard keys or the mouse so the content of the image moves in any direction.
Virtual reality makes it attainable to experience something, anywhere anytime. In Virtual Reality Unlike normal user interfaces, computer places the user within an actually seems virtual environment. Rather than viewing a screen before of them , users are immersed and ready to interact with it as they would in the real world.
Types of VR
The different types of virtual Reality are.
Non Immersive
It is the least amount of resembling implementation of Virtual Reality. During a non – immersive simulation , interaction of the Virtual environment is performed by traditional mean like keyboard and mouse or through some basic 3D devices.
Ex- in racing game non-immersive VR system use pedals, wheels and speed gears to provide user a rich gaming experience. Using various 3D devices , user interacts with digital Content on a display.
Semi-Immersive
It gives a lot of immersive expertise in compare with non immersive simulation. Semi-immersive simulations closely check and utilize several of similar technologies found in flight simulations.
Semi-immersive are equipped by high performance graphical computing systems that are often coupled with massive screen projector systems or multiple TV projection Systems to properly simulate the user’s visuals.
Fully Immersive
It is the most advance immersive implementation of simulation technology. In exceedingly fully immersive simulation, hardware like head motion detecting devices are accustomed stimulates all of a user’s senses.
Fully Immersive simulations are ready to give terribly realistic user experiences by delivering a large field of viewing details, high resolutions, increased refresh rate, and high levels of display contrast into a user’s head-mounted Display (HMD). In this what we see or hear changes as fast as we move just like in reality.
Applications of VR
- In Pain Management
- In Medical Students Training
- In Recruitment
- Managing and Treating Anxiety Disorder
- In Creating Ideas and Forecasting Weather
- In Healthcare
- In Retail
- In Entertainment
- In Education
- In Sports etc
