It provides service at both public and private networks.  Several useful applications like e-mail, customer relationship management and web configuring etc.. run in cloud.

Cloud is general term for the delivery of hosted services over the internet. It refers to manipulating, configuring and accessing the applications online . Cloud Computing facilitate online data storage, infrastructure and application to user.

Basic concepts of cloud computing

There are certain services and models working behind the scene making the cloud computing feasible and accessible to the end users.

Deployment Models

It services can be private, public and community clouds and hybrid. Deployment models define the type of access to the cloud, i.e. how the cloud is located…?

Private cloud

It delivered from a business data center to internal users. This model offers the versatility and convenience of the cloud, while preserving the management, control and security common to local data centers. This Private Cloud allows systems and services to be accessible within an organization. It offers increased security because of it’s private nature.

Public cloud and Community cloud

It is a third party cloud service provider delivers the cloud service over the internet . The public cloud allows systems and services to be easily accessible to the general public . 

Public cloud may be less secure because of it’s openness. E.g. e-mail. These services are available on demand on payment basis. The Community cloud allows systems and services to be accessible by group of organization.

Hybrid Cloud

It is a combination of public and private and private cloud. However, the critical activities are performed using private cloud while the non –critical activities are performed using public cloud.

Service Models

it is categorized in to 3 categories.

IaaS(Infrastructure as a Service)

it is the most basic level of service which provides virtualized computing resources over the internet .

PaaS(Platform as a Service)-

It provides host, development tools on their infrastructures. It can be accessed by user on the internet using API’s web portals for gateway software.

SaaS(Software as a Service)

It is distribution model which delivers software applications over the internet. This service is known as web services. You can access SaaS applications and services on the your computer or on mobile device at any location.

We always listen about intelligent man , but here we talk about intelligent machines and this is the important part of latest technology, Artificial Intelligence are composed with two words Artificial and intelligence   where Artificial(Man-Made)+Intelligence (thinking power). so it is called (A man-made thinking power).

It is a branch of study in computer science through which we make intelligent machines. Like human being machine will do all the things whatever human is doing. Artificial Intelligence enable us to create such machines, like Robots . in Machine learning a machine learn from artificial intelligence as human learn from past experiences.
