File it  is collection of information that is given name and stored on a disk. So it can be manipulated whenever required.

Parts of File

There are two Parts of File

File name and Extension

There are 3 types of file.

•  Read Only    
• Archive(Read/Write)
• Hidden

 

Folder 

it is type of file and  container of files.

Data 

Raw facts are known as data.it means unsequential content is called data.

Information-

Meaningful data is constitute as information.it means sequential content is called information. 

Booting

System start'sup  process is called Booting(OS loading in Memory).

There are 2 types of  Booting

• Cold(Power ON)
• Warm Booting(Reset or Restart)

it is a symbol of software programs.

Shortcuts

it is duplicate copy of that software in system.
