#Internet Access Technique

Dial-up

with a Dial-up connection , the internet user can connect to the internet via his telephone line and an Internet Service Provider. it is also known as level 2 connection . it provides connection to the internet through a Dial-Up Connection .


ISDN

Integrated Service Digital Network is a low to Medium bandwidth digital connection . A Dual Channel ISDN connection can combine both phone (Voice) and Internet (data) transmission simultaneously.


DSL 

it provides digital data transmission over the wires of a local telephone network . it is composed of saveral subcategories like ADSL(Asymmetric DSL) SDSL (Symmetric DSL) etc.


Broadband

it includes a broad technology range which are providing high data rate access to the internet. .


Leased Lines

These are dedicated lines used by ISP's , business , and other large enterprises to connect to Connect LAN's . it is delivered by wire, optical fiber, radio etc. it is used to provide internet access directly as well as the building blocks from which several other form of internet accesses are created . 


WiFi-(Wireless Fidelity)

it is wireless LAN which runs on radio waves rather than wires. and it is associated with "HotSpot". it is used for connecting Laptops, Mobile Phones etc. it's speed is 6 to 600 mbps and service range is 20 to 250 meter or 65 to 820 feet. 



USB Tathering

it is sharing of mobile devices internet connection with other connected computers. you can also share your mobile phone data with other devices.
