#Types of Computer

 

 

Types of computer - there are 3 types of Computer.

Analog- 

it is used for temperature , pressure , length,measuring etc.

Digital -

 it works on zero(0) and One(1)means Binary digits (bits) . there are four types of digital computer.

MicroComputer- 

Because of small microprocessor ,it is called micro computer , it is a single user device, like Desktop, Laptop,Palmtop.

Minicomputer-

it's processor is small but larger than micro computer . it is multi user device , generally used in designing company and for commercial purpose.

Mainframe- 

it is also multi user device , and it has large processor, it is multitasking, not for general people size so big used in companies, banks, and govt sector.

Super Computer- 

it is biggest and largest computer than others it's speed is so high used in robotics, invention, satellite launching etc.

Hybrid computer-

it is combination of both , Analog and Digital computer , and used in ECG(Electrocardiograph), ICU(intensive Care Unit) etc.

Note-

ABACUS -

ir is known as first world computer .

UNIVAC

 it is first digital Computer.

ENIAC

it is first world electronic computer.

'CRAY-1'

it is world first super computer.

PARAM 10000

it is first Indian super computer.
