CPU

it is also know as Microprocessor. it is also called brain of computer. it's primary job is to run program and control the operation of all other parts of computer. it is small chip in Computers Which receive input and provide output.

e.g.--- Pentium, Dualcore, Core2Duo, Corei3, i3, i5, i7 etc. it consist of ALU , CU and Memory Unit.

• RISC(Reduced instruction Set Computing)
• CISC(Complex Instruction Set Computing)

Socket(Pinless, with pin)

Arithmetic Logic Unit

it is the place where the actual execution of instructions takes place.

all comparisons, and all calculations are made in the ALU.

CU- Control Unit -

it is responsible for the controlling of entire working of the computer. it also controls the transfer of data between memory and input output devices.

Memory Unit

it holds data and instructions in the computer's main memory for

manipulations.

  it is made up of Germanium , silicon. it comes in 32 bits, 64 bits.
