Input Devices

means sending data for processing.

those devices which are used for entering data in to computer's are known as input devices.

we will discuss about some useful input devices.

Keyboard

it is primary input device.

Mouse

it is used for drawing sketches , moving cursor etc.

Joystick

it means joy+stick - it is used for playing games .

Scanner

these are so useful device . it is used for entering data directly in to

computer. you do not have to type the information. many professionals used this for keeping their record on E-mail with the help of Scanner.

Optical Mark Reader-

 it is used for reading OMR sheet used in Examinations.

BCR

Bar Code Reader- it is used for reading bar code on standard products. basically it consists of small series of line.

MICR

Magnetic ink Character Reader of Recognition - it is used for recognizing a magnetic code on bank cheque's and deposit slips.

Cameras

all types of Camera like CCTV(close circuit televisions ) Drone , Web ,DSLR(Digital Single lense Reflex)are input devices.

used for capturing images and insert in to computers.
