it can be defined as more than one people

devices, cables etc. because everybody has a network if someone is saying he is not in a network he is telling a lie. because his friends come in his network.

Network= Net+Work(जाल +कार्य )

it is connection of two or more computers which are sharing data and resources and connected within a Campus. it is connected by telephone lines , Co-axial Cables Satellite links radio, microwave are called Networking.

Now a days a Network keeps a strong power, because this is the era of networking, as in computer or in other sector or in business etc. if JIO is world famous Telecom Company it has network.
 in Social media  Millions of people are  following our PM Shri Narendra Modi (has a strong Network), in India BABA has also Network. 

History of Computer Network -

ARPANET(Advanced Research Project Agency Network ) it was the first network in the world Developed by USA in 1969 in Department of Defence.

Types of Computer Network

• LAN
• MAN
• WAN

LAN- (Local Area Network)-

it is a small network it is connected within a building or a campus in limited area. 

ex- your friends of local area so this type of network is called LAN.

MAN-(Metropolitan Area Network)-

it is a network which is bigger than LAN but Smaller than WAN. it is spread-ed City to City. and share network resources.

 ex- Your network of friends from One city to another.

WAN- Wide Area Network

it is biggest area network on national and international level . Internet is also a type of WAN.

ex- You friends network of National and internal level comes in WAN.
