X-10

It is a protocol for communication among IOT devices, mainly in the home automation sector. It is called as the father of modern home automation. The existing house hold wiring, which powers the house acts as the physical layer to transmit and receive data.

X-10 devices are connected to a plugs in a wall, like a normal electrical appliance. A remote interface could be provided so that lights and other appliances can be turned on and off.

 

Advantages of X-10

No new or specialized wiring required.

It is simple to install no need for qualified engineers or professional.

 

Disadvantage of X-10

It is not suitable as a safety device.

There is time delay in sending signal upto 1 sec.

 यह मुख्य रूप से होम ऑटोमेशन क्षेत्र में IOT उपकरणों के बीच संचार के लिए एक प्रोटोकॉल है। इसे आधुनिक होम ऑटोमेशन का जनक कहा जाता है। मौजूदा हाउस होल्ड वायरिंग, जो डेटा को प्रसारित करने और प्राप्त करने के लिए घर को भौतिक परत के रूप में कार्य करता है। X-10 उपकरण एक सामान्य विद्युत उपकरण की तरह दीवार में लगे प्लग से जुड़े होते हैं। एक रिमोट इंटरफेस प्रदान किया जा सकता है ताकि रोशनी और अन्य उपकरणों को चालू और बंद किया जा सके।  

 

एक्स-10 के लाभ 

 कोई नई या विशेष तारों की आवश्यकता नहीं है। 

 योग्य इंजीनियरों या पेशेवर की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं स्थापित करना आसान है।  

 

X-10 . का नुकसान  

यह एक सुरक्षा उपकरण के रूप में उपयुक्त नहीं है।

1 सेकंड तक सिग्नल भेजने में समय लगता है।
